Im still using Photoshop to this day, and as much as I can sing the praises for Pixelmator, whom I do absolutely adore and have used for years alongside Photoshop, they arent industry standard. It’s not a perfect hub but a cost efficient work-around for at least 1 monitor and multiple ports. Ive been using Photoshop since version 7.0 as my main driver for graphic design. I use an HP G2 thunderbolt hub and that gives me a 4K monitor and the MBP display plus several other ports to access. The other notable thing is the, what seems to be everlasting phone-like battery life because it’s so efficient with the M1 i find myself charging my machine like every few days if running in pure laptop mode like at the coffee table. I run Universal Audio Luna, Ableton, Lightroom, iMovie etc, and basically all at the same time without much issue.Ĭompare the M1 benchmarks and you’ll find statistics that do not seem realistic but they are.
